Meet Naylin Amanda
Hello there, I’m Naylin, a shamanic healer, Reiki Master Teacher, and founder of Shamanic Reiki Academy. My life’s work is rooted in the belief that the sacred wisdom you seek is not something found outside of yourself. It is already living within you, waiting to be remembered.
My journey into energy medicine began more than 30 years ago when I was a teenager. I spent time leading children with disabilities around a farm on horseback, helping them shift from anxiety into relaxed confidence. This early experience inspired a lifelong path to learn holistic healing.
Over the years, I’ve earned certifications as a meditation and mindfulness teacher. In 2011, I received my first Reiki attunement from a direct lineage traceable to Dr. Mikao Usui, and my work remains committed to honoring and preserving the traditional teachings of Usui Reiki.
My shamanic path is rooted in a family lineage of Old Nordic Shamanism and I’ve also trained within multiple shamanic traditions. My studies include advanced Core Shamanism training with Sandra Ingerman in Sante Fe, New Mexico. I have also spent many years working with the Q’ero shamans of Peru, receiving direct rites and teachings to become a Full Mesa Carrier entrusted with their sacred healing traditions. I continue to travel to Peru and guide groups in experiencing these teachings through ceremony and pilgrimage to many sacred sites.
As I practiced both shamanism and Reiki, I recognized that they share many of the same core principles. Both offer ways of working with energy and intention to support healing on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. This realization inspired the creation of Shamanic Reiki Academy.
Alongside my certification programs, I offer shamanic energy healing sessions that support trauma release, soul retrieval, and past-life healing. I work in-person in Colorado and through live virtual sessions worldwide.
Today, a meaningful part of my work is mentoring the next generation of energy healers and supporting them on their unique path of learning and growth. Through every healing session, ceremony, and mentorship I offer, my intention is to create a space where others feel seen, supported, and empowered to trust themselves and awaken their medicine.

Is training available In-Person and Online?
Yes, training is available in person, within Denver CO. It is also available online via Zoom. Shamanic Reiki aims to make training available to everyone. You can learn on your own or become part of a group.
How much time is instructional, and how much is hands-on practice?
The balance of coursework and hands-on practice varies with each level of Shamanic Reiki training. Please refer to the Certification Classes section for specific details on the structure and time allocation for each level or schedule a call with us.
Does Naylin have experience with spirit communication?
Yes. Naylin has worked as a psychic medium, supporting a paranormal research group in Colorado whose mission was to help lost souls find peace and move forward. She also teaches others how to tune in and develop their own intuitive and psychic abilities.
Can beginners work with Naylin, or do I need prior experience?
All experience levels are welcome. Whether you are new to Reiki, energy medicine, or already an experienced practitioner in a different holistic healing modality, Naylin meets you where you are.
