A Year of Sacred Rites & Initiation
This year-long training follows the teachings of the Andean Healing Tradition, rooted in the ancestral healing practices of the Q’ero of Peru. The Path of the Medicine Carrier begins each summer and concludes the following spring.
Your training includes two hands-on, in-person training immersions in Colorado, along with regular group Zoom gatherings throughout the year to support you as you move through each stage of the journey.
Inside the Medicine Carrier Training
Throughout your training, you’ll build a sacred medicine bag called a Mesa, which becomes both a tool and map for your shamanic healing work. Some shamanic practices you will learn to use your Mesa for:
- Chakra Illumination: Learn to identify and clear energetic imbalances within a person’s chakra system.
- Soul Retrieval: Learn to perform Soul Retrieval for yourself and others.
- Energy Extraction: Learn to locate lower vibrational energies within a person’s energy field and safely remove them.
- Psychopomp: Learn practices for helping the earthbound spirits of people and animals safely cross over into the heavenly realms after death.
- Shamanic Journeying: Learn to journey through the Three Worlds of Shamanism to connect with helping spirits.
As you put these teachings into practice, you’ll receive ongoing mentorship to answer your questions, support your growth, and help you develop confidence as a Shamanic Healer.

Having the Right Teacher Makes All the Difference
The right teacher does more than share teachings. They help you navigate the challenges and questions that arise along the way. With Naylin, you’ll receive ongoing mentorship throughout your journey. The path to becoming a shamanic healer is not meant to be walked alone.
Your Year of Training
Your training follows the Andean Chakana, a sacred map for spiritual transformation similar to the Medicine Wheel. The Chakana guides you through the Four Cardinal Directions. Each direction represents a stage of awakening and carries its own teachings, rites, spirit allies, and shamanic practices.
TRAINING IS BROKEN INTO TWO PARTS:
- Part 1: Covers the directions of the South and West.
- Part 2: Covers the directions of North and East.
Part 1: The South & West
You’ll begin with monthly Zoom gatherings, with select gatherings featuring live virtual teachings from the Q’ero shamans of Peru.
During this time, you’ll begin building your Mesa by working with crystals that will be blessed to help you with your work as a shamanic healer.
At the completion of the South and West teachings, you’ll join your class in Colorado for a three-day, in-person training in late September, where you’ll deepen your experience through hands-on practice.

- Identify and extract heavy energy from the chakra system
- Receive your first Rites of the Munay Ki
- Work with your Mesa as a healing ally
- Sacred Space to connect with your spirit allies
- Clear energetic intrusions using Extractions

- Shamanic Breathwork to merge with your higher chakras
- Hands-on practice
Part 2: The North & East
After completing Part One, you’ll continue through the Chakana with live Zoom gatherings into Part Two.
You’ll continue to work with additional crystals to create your Mesa, while receiving 1:1 support through private coaching as you practice your skills and grow into your role as a Shamanic Healer.
At the completion of the North & East teachings, you’ll return to Colorado in May for your second three-day, in-person training. This final gathering brings your journey to completion as you step fully into your role as a Shamanic Healer and carry your medicine forward into the world.

FAQ's
Do I need previous shamanic training or Shamanic Reiki certification first?
No. Previous experience in shamanism or Shamanic Reiki Certification is not required. All practices and teachings are introduced in a way that supports both beginners and experienced practitioners.
How do I enroll in the training?
Enrollment begins by scheduling a conversation with Naylin or reaching out through the contact page. If the training feels aligned, you’ll receive the next steps to reserve your place
Is this training focused on personal growth, practitioner training, or both?
Both. This journey prepares you to become a Shamanic Healing Practitioner while guiding you through your own healing and spiritual development.
How is this training different from your Shamanic Reiki certification program?
The Shamanic Reiki certification program focuses on Usui Reiki and foundational shamanic practices. Medicine Carrier training is a year-long initiation that teaches advanced shamanic healing practices and prepares students to become Shamanic Practitioners.
What are the Rites of the Munay-Ki?
The Munay-Ki are energetic transmissions passed from teacher to student through the chakra system. There are nine sacred rites received throughout the Path of the Medicine Carrier that support personal transformation, spiritual evolution, and connection to generations of healers.
Will I be able to offer shamanic healing sessions after completing the training?
Yes. Students who complete the assigned coursework, including participation in both immersions, will be prepared to begin offering shamanic healing sessions to others.
Will I be certified after completing the training?
No. This training culminates in the completion of your Full Mesa with 14 living khuyas, signifying that you have received the rites and completed the Medicine Carrier training.
Will I receive personal mentorship throughout the year?
Yes. In addition to our scheduled group Zoom sessions, you’ll have access to a group chat, email communication, and 1:1 coaching calls with Naylin.
What if I cannot attend one of the 3-day in-person immersions?
If you are unable to attend due to an unexpected circumstance, you may join the corresponding immersion with the following year’s group. Please note that the training is not considered complete until all immersions have been attended.
What is the investment for the training?
Depending on previous experience or training in other holistic healing modalities, investment typically ranges from $5,500–$7,500. Students who have completed the Shamanic Reiki Certification Program with Naylin may qualify for reduced tuition. Flexible payment plans are available.
Will I meet the Q'eros during the training?
Yes. Members of the Q’eros community will join us for select Zoom gatherings to share their wisdom, culture, and lead ceremonies.
